At Simple Kona Beach Weddings, we book weddings up to one year in advance, which is common for many wedding vendors here in Hawaii. If you already know you want to get married on the Big Island, reaching out early is always a good idea, especially if you have a specific date, sunset time slot, or travel season in mind.

For many couples, booking three to six months ahead gives us plenty of time to talk through your vision, secure your date, guide you through the Hawaii marriage license process, apply for any needed beach permits, and coordinate the details that will help your day feel smooth and stress-free.

That said, we also know that some love stories move quickly. If everything lines up with the marriage license, our availability, and the timing needed to properly prepare, we may even be able to serve a couple the same day. So if your wedding date is coming up soon, please still reach out. We will let you know what is possible and help you choose the simplest path forward.

Although we do not issue the marriage license ourselves, we do help you understand what Hawaii requires, how to apply, what steps need to be completed before your wedding day, and we even set your marriage license appointment for you. This saves you one more headache while planning your destination wedding from afar.

Taking care of the marriage license details ahead of time helps your wedding day feel much more relaxed. Instead of worrying about paperwork, you can focus on the moment, the view, and the person standing beside you.
