This special triathlon package contains the essentials and the care of our curated wedding and vow renewal options and adds a few elements of flair but keeps things simple so you can concentrate on or recover from the reason you are here in Kona. Up to three enhancements (Leis for Guests? Haku and Bouquet are available for this option, and a professional photographer may be added separately.)

For the triathlon participant who feels that getting married during the competition would be the ultimate way to tie the knot, this package is for you.

Imagine starting out the marathon leg of your journey and having the opportunity to step off the course, marry your honey, and get back on with that excitement to carry you through the bulk of your run and to cross that finish line married.

Well, you can!

Simple Kona Beach Weddings has a perfect location on a beach at the start of the marathon portion of the race route, at an uncrowded section, just before heading down to the stone church, and then heading back out to tackle the run to the energy lab and back...

We will be tracking your bib number and have your future spouse there, waiting for you in ample time (he or she is also welcome to simply set up camp on the beach for the day and watch for you there), and we'll have someone holding a sign for you, guiding you onto the beach, where a little wedding area will be set up for you and your future spouse, with Becky at the ready to perform your service. If you arrive after sunset, we will set up a special location in front of the beach but on the side of the road.

We'll be glad to take some photos on your cell to snap a few pro shots of your big moment. We'll marry you in a swift but meaningful way (unless you would like to make it longer) so that you can finish the race knowing that you are now officially married, without losing too much time or momentum!

You'll be entering and exiting the course at the same point, and we've made sure we'll be following all of the race regulations to keep you on course to finish the race.

We will even provide you with some sort of sign, bib, or indicator that lets people know your newlywed status!

Simple Secular or Spiritual Service Performed by Becky at a Beach Location Right on the first stretch of the run portion of the event, that will allow you to exit and enter the course easily at the same location, as well as allow the non-race participant to easily get there as well.

A professional photographer may also be added—either arranged by yourselves from a referral list, or I can help arrange that for you and wrap it into your package.
