Simple Kona Beach Weddings founder, organizer, planner, coordinator, and officiant  Becky Ringler is loving, personable, organized, and welcoming. Having gotten married herself to her husband, Matt (aka Uncle Dude), on the Big Island in 2008 prior to moving here, she knows just how important good communication and special, caring attention are for a destination wedding—especially when it's an intimate affair.
 
With a BA in Communications from Northwestern University, an MA in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from CIIS, a background in theater and show production, and as a dating and relationship coach and author (and a supreme lover of love!), Becky's ultimate goal is to provide you with a quality, fun, and stress-free experience from start to finish. In her ceremony, Becky always strives to capture "you" as a couple, fill it with heart and meaning, and sprinkle it with lots of love and aloha.
 
On your big day, she (and usually Uncle Dude, too) will be there to provide you with a meaningful, simple, fun, and elegant wedding or vow renewal on the beach. From custom-created options to last-minute and curated offerings, there's something for everyone looking for that intimate Hawaiian beach wedding or vow-renewal experience.

Matt Ringler

aka "Uncle Dude"

Super friendly and outgoing, you'll usually find Matt chatting up nearly everyone at every wedding or vow renewal (he's also an expert at getting even the shy kids and teens to smile for photos). He serves as Becky's right-hand man, helping her with setup, taking your cell phone photos, and providing travel advice.

With a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from Gonzaga University (Go Zags!), Matt brings his shining personality and love of people to every wedding. 

Once a private chef, Matt has a passion for cooking (which Becky enjoys eating!) and is an avid water person. You can often find him and Becky swimming, diving, and snorkeling at our many amazing beaches here along the Kona Coast! 

Matt and Becky also love to travel, and between the two of them, they have been to over 17 countries.
